WELCOME

Dr. Craig Harper is a Lecturer in Human Psychology, and based at Nottingham Trent University (UK). His research focuses on the psychological mechanisms that underpin political decision-making in a range of contexts. The bulk of his work to date has examined public attitudes within a forensic context - particularly in relation to sexual crime. Emerging work, however, is examining the horseshoe nature of political orientation - the idea that the far left and the far right of the political spectrum of psychologically closer to each other than they are to the political centre-ground.
In 2015, Dr. Harper was presented with the 'Rising Researcher Award' by the Psychology Postgraduate Affairs Group of the British Psychological Society.
